MONTHLY VIEW - MAY!:
The month of May is about the following goals for me:
1) Build routines, 2) Identify and work MITs for weeks and day each week, 3) Focus on doing 1 task at a time without distractions.

WEEKLY VIEW:
- Weekly planning meeting with hubby tonight. YEAH!
- Activities are ramping up again this week - at least one appointment per day T, W (two appts), Th. Key will be to keep up with my daily habits/routines in spite of increased activity.
- Plan to meet hubby for lunch Friday (we are going to shoot for lunch together at least 1x/week).
- I am excited to meet with Dr. Mike (Thursday) so I can begin working on fitness with Liz.

DAILY VIEW
Fitness/Health:
Execute my daily habits to built routines.

Study: O. Chambers and the Word; Reading The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as entertainment/rest my mind.

Plan: Work my routines checklist. MITs for day: 1) Create and print health summary to be reviewed with doc tomorrow, 2) Wash dogs 3) Clean bathroom 4) Create new habit tracker / journal sheets for binder based on new format. (Work in order of priority, stop when need to and defer to tomorrow if need be.)

Action: Trust. Be in the moment.

I really like this view thingy.

I was even thinking about doing an April review, and then a May general plan. That way, in June we can all reflect back! Just thoughts.

I like the review suggestion! That is definitely a layer I want to add in on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. I'm not quite there yet, but am capturing info so I can go back and review.

FITNESS: CFit WOD! Liz killed it. I forgot my stop watch. But, it was awesome. My arms hurt. Good times.

STUDY: Listened to Bob Proctor The Power to Have It All when I slept last night. More Drucker.

PLAN: Simple plan because of a CPIHaiti deadline. Planned yesterday for today and tomorrow. Thursday I will plan again (zoom out/big picture.)

ACTION: work out. (Done.) work on CPIHaiti stuff. Take car to get radiator fixed. Work on CPI stuff. Pick up car after being fixed. Happy.

So, do tell. How is everyone? Erin, what is the status on your coffee job? Do you have any of that free time yet? Christina, I am sorry that we missed seeing X-men together. (Don't know if that is the kind of movie you and Brien would watch, but oh well!)

Liz and Brigs, you guys getting fired up for your trip to Haiti?! Everyone keep praying that A) work does not pitch a fit about me being gone that long, or B) we get the funding so that I can step into it full time!

Alright everyone, so it's about time I get back on here! I've finally got some free time, and I'm loving it. But free time also means time to be more intentional about my life and time to make some progress on goals.

FITNESS: Biking 10K around the Lake.

STUDY: STIIIILLLLL pounding my way through Planet Walker. Had to put it on hold during the last part of the semester, but picked it up again yesterday and read a good chunk. Like it a lot. Excited to finish it soon though and pick up "Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. Gonna be coming up with some Bible reading goals for this month too.

PLAN: Yesterday was kind of the beginning of the month for me - doing planning now. Printing out calendar for May and marking appointments, goals, workout schedule etc. on that. Coming up with plan for May - meeting up with Liz later this week to talk about fitness and nutrition stuff, to get some Liz wisdom =).

ACTION: Relax. Rest. Recover. Reflect. With some time on my hands, I'm just trying to zoom out, so I can refocus myself and make some good headway in my life during these summer months.

I'm starting out this summer with a 3 day water fast. Started yesterday. The past few weeks of eating, around my birthday and exams, and have fun but rather atrocious, LOL. So it's time for a bit of a body cleanse to get back on track =).

How many times around the lake is that?

You sound like you're getting back into your groove. I really admire the way that you are flexible with yourself. Relax, Rest, Recover...you are my hero!!

It's about 2 and a half times around. With the extra mile or so to my house and back, I figure I can hit about 10K no problem. It went well...but my knee/leg hurt with every push of the pedal. With working out so little in the past week and a half, I know it's just because the muscles have gotten a little lazy. The leg always aches when that happens =/. With a few more workouts this week though, I'll be back on track I think...

Trying to get back into a groove. As for being flexible...I've just learned that I don't do well being rigid with myself. I can try and try again, but it usually only lasts a few days =). For me, flexibility makes health and fitness actually do-able on a long term basis....and I like long term!
