Hello Brigitte,
Thank you for your kind words and your photo show. It seems you are very much into the good things of life, and I particularly enjoyed seeing your study desk, your bulletin board with all of the sticky notes. You must be highly energetic and motivated toward high goals.
I am new to CrossFit, but have attended the center for two weeks now. Chad, my son who is a CrossFit specimen, is coaching me under the supervision of the owners of this center. He is such a superb coach, and it is great fun for me to work hard for him (and myself). We are making gains toward the goals.
Bridgitte, I will write more of the information for this week tomorrow since it is getting late and I must turn in order to be ready for the 6:30 AM meeting with Chad at the center for workout tomorrow.
My best,
Carolyn

Shhh, the secret that no one know's about marathons is this...DEDICATION! Haha, no one realizes it but anyone can really do a marathon. You just have to make sure you stick with your training program and stay dedicated. You won't be doing much else other than running though I'll give you that. Anyway, the God-sized vision I would love to come to fulfillment is to start a medical missions team dedicated to providing healthcare to those that can't afford it. I definately want to travel, I've been to Africa a few times and may want to go there, but ultimately it's where God directs me. I wouldn't just want to do small stints over time because that isn't really how physical therapy works. I can't go in and perform surgery and leave. PT takes time, while I'm at it I would love to educate and maybe even work with local schools/universities to train new physical therapy assistants or PT's. It's all in time though as I'm still in school and have school loans to pay off. Once I'm financially free, that's where things will pick up. - So in the midst of your travel where have you gone, learned? I met Grant on semester at sea so seeing the world and new cultures are on the to do list.

Profile Information

Tell us about yourself generally... What do you do? Where did you come from? Etc.
HOWSIT!
Born and raised in South Africa, you'll find me traveling in the UK, working as a live-in carer for disabled (with spinal injuries). My passion is to motivate people in realizing God's purpose in and for their life!
On my weeks off I travel!

Education: I've done various short courses from Early childhood development and education to various ways of investments, sales techniques (worked in sales in various areas for 5 years) art history and managing business... I love learning about life, people, cultures, food... EVERYTHING!
What are a few of your Life Goals (Ex. fitness, career, educational, etc.)?
in the process of changing...
Do you have a desired Health, Fitness, of Physique Goal? If so Please specify...
Continue in the exercise regime I'm in (Pilates and running). I need to learn to allow my body time to adjust to the changes without putting too much pressure on myself to get fit fast. The balance between taking it easy but remaining self-disciplined in lifestyle change is HUGE for me.
Are you currently using a specific program, routine or system that you are following to work on your Fitness Goals? (Ex. Body for Life, Crossfit, Jenny Craig, P90x, etc.)
At the moment I run on average 3 or 4 times a week for 30-45 minutes; Pilates 5 times a week.
Have you done your Top 100 Goals?
No

New Energy

This morning , I woke with a downpour of a mega rainstorm lashing out on earth. There was no way I was going out running in that storm. As I put on my shoes, ready to head out to the gym, the rain suddenly stopped. Something called me to put the car keys down and go for that run outside afterall, although it looked like it would certainly start raining again. I NEEDED a run after a crazy week. Running has become therapeutic to me, and I use it to mentally and physically prepare myself to handle… Continue
