Tell us about yourself generally... What do you do? Where did you come from? Etc.
I have lived all around the country... Born and raised in Chicago and subarbs, moved to Rockville, MD outside of D.C. to do high school there...went to Liberty Univeristy in Lynchburg, VA where I spent 7 1/2 years(living there, not in college) and while Chicago will always be home to me, Lynchburg will always have my heart. My life was shaped in so many ways there. I moved to Los Angeles last year and and moved to Lakeland FL where I currently reside now in February of this year. My Mom moved here from DC a year ago and I left L.A. to work on me and make some major life changes. I work at starbucks... while the benefits are great, it's not the most ideal job. I really want to work overseas teaching English and helping women and children in poverty, and or suffering from AIDS.
What are a few of your Life Goals (Ex. fitness, career, educational, etc.)?
To finish school... I have had many half attempts and have grown up a lot. I really look forward to finishing my degree and pursuing my next degree.
I want to travel to many countries to do humanitarian work. Africa holds the largest hold on my heart and has for many years, as does Thailand, China, India, South Korea, Brazil, Peru, I could go on and on. I want to help women and children suffering. My goal is to find ways to get out there and start doing that now, even if it's locally. Helping doesn't have to be international.
I am also very into music and fashion and event planning. I am still trying to figure out which direction in life to go. Design? Event planning? Culinary? I have the heart and soul of an artist, truly. I do not feel complete unless I am creating in one fashion or another. So my goal is figure out which direction to go in and just take the risk and do it!
Also I want to get into fantastic shape again! I want to loose at least twenty pounds. I was an athlete my whole life and as I got older and life happened my body inevitably changed. So my goal is to get back down to skinny girl again.
To be able to balance my life between work, meetings, gym, babysitting my niece, church, church related things.. I have a busy schedule. and I want to find true balance.
Do you have a desired Health, Fitness, of Physique Goal? If so Please specify...
to loose 20 pounds!
Are you currently using a specific program, routine or system that you are following to work on your Fitness Goals? (Ex. Body for Life, Crossfit, Jenny Craig, P90x, etc.)
I go to Gym and work with a trainer there. But I am open to new suggestions.
