Oh wow! I'd love to hear how you wound up in Florida. I will check out your profile and see if it's shared anywhere. We spent most summers as a family at our cabin just outside of Blind River (a couple hours west of Toronto...really small town). I looooove Canada and was made an "honorary Canadian" by the kids I grew up with there over the summers. I even started saying 'Mum' and 'eh?' =)

Profile Information

Tell us about yourself generally... What do you do? Where did you come from? Etc.
Hi, my name is Krysta the Skydiving Barista :)
What are a few of your Life Goals (Ex. fitness, career, educational, etc.)?
- Spend a semester in Patagonia
- Graduate USF with two Bachelor's degrees
- Skydive or BASE jump in more than one country
- Feel confident about my body, and be able to participate unhindered in any sport or active activity that I choose
- Live in South America
- Get my Wilderness First Responder and Wilderness EMT certification
- Adopt a little boy from South America and a little girl from either Cambodia, Laos, or Vietnam
Do you have a desired Health, Fitness, of Physique Goal? If so Please specify...
Absolutely. I'm 5'10" and would like to rest between 145 and 150 lbs. with about 17% body fat. I was millimeters from this before I busted my leg, and now I'm working hard to get back there.
Are you currently using a specific program, routine or system that you are following to work on your Fitness Goals? (Ex. Body for Life, Crossfit, Jenny Craig, P90x, etc.)
Just the one I've created for myself :) I'm open to trying just about anything though if it's beneficial!
Have you done your Top 100 Goals?
No

Words of Life.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, WHO ARE YOU NOT TO BE? YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

Minimalism: Break Free From Goals

A blog I came across tonight from Leo Babauta, author of Zen Habits.
Interested to hear what you guys think!!
Let me know...let's get some conversation going =).

"By letting it go it all gets done. The world is won by those who let it go. But when you try and try. The world is beyond the winning." - Lao Tzu

One of the unshakable tenets of success and productivity literature is that you need to have goals in order to be successful (see Seth Godin on this - he's someone I respect, bt… Continue

Prayer of Examen

Hey guys - Check this out. I got it from an old friend in Ohio, that just started a church. It's taken from The Mars Hill church website, but is initially credited to St. Ignatius of Loyola. I like the intentionality and quietness of this. Let me know what you think!

MOVING DAY

Hey guys....

Just wondering if i can recruit any help for next weekend (January 17).
My roomate Mickey and I are moving out of our current place on the North side, and into an awesome house off of Edgewood. We seem to have lost some of our big-buff-guy help......so I figured I'd throw out the invite to a bunch of other big-buff-guys that I know :)

We have a flat bed trailor that we're using to move our big stuff, and really that's all we need help with. We can do everything else ourselves, I t… Continue

Help!

Hey guys!

Do any of you know of someone who has a bike they may want to sell or give away? I need to get a bike for this coming semester at USF - my classes are spread out all over campus this time around and I won't be able to make it to classes on time by walking. Also I am moving to the south side (Edgewood) in a few weeks, and will be within a few miles of almost everywhere I need to go for work and everyday stuff. I would like to be able to ride a bike more than I use my car...it's a lot m… Continue
